Part of my intervention, a few years ago, at a Self-defense seminar that brought together people from Ninjutsu, Taichi and Viet Vo Dao.
I was asked to explain and demonstrate the principles I use to generate power and speed, and how to incorporate them into simple assault situations.
So I explained different types of compression to generate power, how to use breathing, Tanden and always work from our center, whether in technique or Kumite.
I believe that the principles I demonstrate here can be useful and adapted to all forms of martial arts or combat sports, so this video is well worth your time!
