🌍 Note for the International Dōjō: This live seminar was taught in French, but I have meticulously translated the concepts for you. Please make sure to turn on the English Subtitles (CC) on the video to catch every detail of the teaching!

OSS, Busy Warriors.

What happens when you strip away the specific style, the etiquette, and the traditional curriculum of a martial art? What remains when you only look at the raw mechanics of combat?

Recently, I was invited to teach a seminar at a friendly Ninjutsu Dōjō. I didn’t go there to teach them Shotokan Karate. They have their own art, their own history, and their own path. Instead, I went there to share what I call Yūshin Geiko.

Yūshin Geiko is my personal vision and synthesis of the fundamental principles that bridge Budō, Karate, meditation, and Yoga. It is the essence of what I brought back from my years at the Hombu Dōjō in Tokyo. It is the study of how the body moves efficiently, how the mind connects to the strike, and how energy is channeled from the ground up.

These principles are universal. Whether you are throwing a Gyaku Zuki in Karate, striking in Ninjutsu, or looking for stability in your Yoga practice, the biomechanical truth remains the same.

In this exclusive 20-minute seminar replay, we dive deep into the core of martial efficiency.

Here is what we cover inside:

  • The Timings of Combat: Understanding Go No Sen (reactive) and the mindset required for Sen No Sen (proactive/creative).

  • The “Playmobil” Trap: Why 90% of practitioners are too stiff, and how to transition from tension to true elastic power.

  • Rooting and Kime: How to drop your weight and strike with your center (Hara) instead of your upper body.

  • The Martial Mind & Mokusō: Why a perfect technique is useless without the “soul” behind it, followed by a guided meditation to anchor the energy.

This is not a casual workout. It is a deep dive into the internal mechanics of a strike.

Grab a notebook, watch the video below, and think about how you can integrate these universal principles into your own daily practice.

Stay sharp. Stay elastic.

If today’s breakdown on rooting and timing resonated with you, you should definitely check out my previous session with this same group of martial artists (Ninjutsu, Taichi, and Viet Vo Dao practitioners).

In this archived Masterclass, I was asked to demonstrate the exact principles I use to generate effortless speed and devastating power from the inside out. We explored different types of body compression, the mechanics of breathing, and how to weaponize your Tanden (center) in real assault situations.

These concepts are universally adaptable to any martial art. Highly recommended if you want to complete your understanding of internal striking mechanics:
